We had owned a unit for 20 years and had been considering selling as we had a somewhat difficult tenant recently and where not happy to be subjected to further problems with new tenants.

After the recommendation from another agent who we had been dealing with that had moved to the South Island we met with David and had no hesitation in appointing him as our agent.

From the start David had a plan and strategy on how to achieve the best result, he advised us of our options and we all decided on Auction as the best way forward.

An extensive marketing program was implemented to ensure all possible buyers were aware of the property in the market. Throughout the campaign David kept us informed of all aspects of the campaign and the feedback from the market, thought at times we did not like all of the feedback we understood it was necessary so we could make an informed decision.

Auction day arrived and we met with the Auctioneer who along with David explained the process for auction day at no time did we feel any pressure and we set the reserve price for auction.

The day of the auction we had a great turn out with 3 bidders and a result that far exceeded our reserve by tens of thousands of dollars a great result and we are delighted.

David successfully took our home to auction after a six week marketing program.

We just waned to let you know how delighted we are with how you handled the sale of our property. After doing a great deal of research into the market and Real Estate Agents, we chose David Hibbins and we where not disappointed in our choice.

What a superb decision, a sale that should have been simple and straight forward was fraught with problems from day one.
